Enjoy late summer/autumn tour in Dunskey gardens. We have the following plants: Vibrant autumn colour from late flowering perennials such as Plox, Crocosmia, Inula,Hydragea. Acca, Eucryphia and Magnolia along with the colorful foliage of Cercidiphyllum and Vitis. Ripening fruit such as apples, pears and grapes while in the glasshouses the Hedychiums are at their best.

Windy and wet weather meant that conditions were less than perfect. This resulted in a realatively small number of moths caught in traps. However the following species were collected aong with crane flies, caddis flies and some un-identified micro-moths. Selection of some plants to be seen in July at Dunskey: Impatiens trinctoria, Rosa species & cultivars, Sutherlandia frutescens, Lobelia tupa, Eucryphia lucida. Hardy Geranium species & cultivars. Display of half hardy & tender perennials.

Lilium and Abutilon species and cultivars.
