Dive in to Dunskey

Beneficial for mental and physical health, wild swimming in Dunskey’s private loch is an experience second to none. Float along at your own leisure, race your friends to the bottom, or simply dip your toes in at the water’s edge.

When taking breaks from splashing about, find warmth and restoration inside our sustainable log-burning sauna. Once cozy inside, turn the sauna into a relaxing oasis with a selection of Dunskey’s very own botanical oils, which you may take with you upon departure.

Wear comfy waterproof shoes and remember to bring the flashlight from your lodge. On cold weather days, we advise you pack water-repellant layers, as well as some additional courage.

What To Expect

  1. This activity takes place on selected days of the week. Please check your lodge guest form for availability.
  2. You will receive an email to confirm your booking, as well as an additional reminder email prior to your
    activity. On the day, please walk to the Water Nest with your swim kits already on your body.
  3. Sauna and swim towels will be available for you alongside a thermos of hot ginger tea.
  4. When finished, please make your way back to your lodge in your own clothes and leave the swim towels for us to
    pick up.

*Dunskey Estate currently accepts a minimum three-night stay throughout the year, with flexible check-in and check-out dates. During Christmas and New Year 2023, we have a seven-night minimum stay, with check-in and check-out dates as Wednesday December 20th, Wednesday December 7th, and Wednesday January 3rd.
