In the enchanted woodlands of Portpatrick, Scotland, UK, lies the perfect addition to any celebration, whether it’s a wedding, anniversary, birthday or other special event. Feel the rush of adrenaline as you compete against friend or foe to hit the bullseye first. Expert instructors are on hand to guide guests through the art of ax throwing, teaching them proper technique, safety measures, and etiquette.

Pricing starts at £100 for up to 4 guests. Bring the whole party for an additional £20 per guest thereafter. All equipment will be provided.

What to Expect

  1. You will receive an email to confirm your booking, as well as an additional reminder email with the date, time, and location prior to your activity.
  2. An instructor will guide you through safety and equipment familiarisation and a demonstration of skills
  3. A practice period with the instructor will take place before you move on to some games and friendly (or not-so-friendly) competition.

*Dunskey Estate currently accepts a minimum three-night stay throughout the year, with flexible check-in and check-out dates. During Christmas and New Year 2023, we have a seven-night minimum stay, with check-in and check-out dates as Wednesday December 20th, Wednesday December 7th, and Wednesday January 3rd.
